This past Saturday, Wladimir Klitschko faced off against Sam Peter, an up and coming Nigerian born fighter, in a 12 round unanimous decision that yeilded Klitschko as the winner. All three judges scored the fight 114 - 111 despite Waldimir being knocked down three times.

Thats right, Sam Peter put Klitschko ( who were going to call Wladdy from now on, because his name is too fucking hard to type ) on the canvas three times, but still manged to lose the fight. One would suspect foul play on Wladdys part but to be completely honest, you would have had to seen the fight to believe it. Sam Peter was just plain out boxed. Frankly if you were watching this fight wishing that Wladdy would get his head knocked clean the fuck off by Peter, this fight would have left you very frustrated and with a scratchy throat from cussing at the television. While Peters is a big puncher and all, his actual boxing skill is not there yet.

Wladdy, who should have earned the name CLUTCH-ko after this fight, is now under the training of Emanuel Steward. The former trainer of world champion Lennox Lewis. So you know how this fight went, jab jab… clutch / grab, repeat. Peter, lacking boxing skill, seems to be also lacking defense. He was hit repeatedly with jabs from Wladdy, while none of them appeared to hurt Peter all that bad (except for a punch that wobbled him in the 11th round ). Thats what basically won Wladdy the fight, despite him hitting the floor three times. Hard to believe its possible, and even harder to watch. This was almost like watching Lewes Vs. Tua. This fight went almost exactly like that. Except Wladdy got knocked down three fucking times.

But any true boxing fan cant take this win away from Wladdy, he may have looked fucking terrified the first few rounds ( I would have too though, have you seen that big muthafucka Peter? gotdamn! ). He may have been punked all around the ring, being pushed and hit when he was holding on to Peter scared to let him get with in arm reach. But as far as the actual sport of boxing, and this being a boxing match. Wladdy out boxed him and won as a result, despite being knocked down three fucking times.

Hopefully Sam Peter will seek out a better boxing coach, and live up to his full potential, come back and knock Wladdy the fuck out like he was suppose to do in this first fight.
