Putting Peter Jackson in charge of directing a major motion picture films, definitely means profit. But adding in the equation is Microsoft’s top selling game for the Xbox, Halo, and you have nothing but money to sleep on. With the Lord of the Rings trilogy box office gross of almost 3 billion dollars, you can see why Jackson was the number one choice for the job.

With Microsoft trying to dominate the world, it would of course mean taking over film as well. Microsoft is currently worth a total of 500 billion dollars, and with todays gas prices it is necessary for MS to continue making money. With the Xbox 360 coming out this fall, and the new operating system, Microsoft Vista coming out next year, they are truly trying to take over our daily lives.

There will be no Hobbits or Wizards in the Halo film, but expect action, adventure, and bunch of acne-ridden, pre-pubescent, horny, awkard teenagesr in the theater with you.
