Ok well the letters are actually white, and on a scarlet colored licence plate on your car telling the world that you have been convicted of a DUI in the state of Cali. "This notifies the public, ‘Here is a guy who may be dangerous,’ " Haynes said. "It also alerts cops. If you see a car with a red plate in front of a bar at midnight, maybe it’s someone you want to watch. Finally, it frankly does make people think twice about wanting to drive around drunk." (Ahem, yes while drunk off your ass, the risk that you MIGHT have to roll a mack10-shaded plate on your 20’s might inhibit your drinking and driving. umm ok.)
